COMBINES TWO-STEP, RELOAD & CASH OUT!

GAME INSTRUCTIONS

Texas Reload is a patented game based on a 7-card poker format and represents a new and engaging way to play video poker.  Here’s how it works.

STEP 1.  GAME PARAMETERS.  First, the player selects the number of hands and the number of credits per hand they wish to play.  Texas Reload currently enables a player to play up to five hands at a time and wager up to five credits per hand.  For example, if credits are set to $1.oo, then a player who is playing five hands at five credits per hand is essentially wagering $5.00 per hand and $25.00 total for the round.  Once the parameters have been set, the player clicks the PLAY button to initiate play.

STEP 2.  THE HOLE CARDS ARE DEALT AND A REDRAW OFFER PRESENTED.  Each player hand is randomly dealt two cards face up from a standard 52-card deck.  These are the player’s Hole Cards.  The player is then presented with a Redraw Offer.  If they accept the Redraw Offer, their Hole Cards are placed back in the deck and the player is randomly dealt two new Hole Cards.  The player is then presented with another Redraw Offer, which they can accept or reject.  The process repeats until the player is satisfied with the Hole Cards they’ve received.  Once the player is satisfied with the Hole Cards they’ve been dealt for all of the hands they’re playing, they click the REVEAL button to continue game play.

STEP 3.  FLOP, TURN & RIVER REVEALED.  Once the REVEAL button has been clicked, the player’s hole cards are locked in.  Next, each hand’s remaining five cards (the Flop, Turn and River) are revealed.

STEP 4.  BEST 5-CARD POKER HAND DETERMINED & WINNING HANDS PAID OUT.  The player’s hand is analyzed and the best 5-card poker hand combination is determined, and if sufficient, the hand will be paid out according to the published payout table, which is accessible by clicking the Payouts Slider in the upper-right-side of the screen.

STEP 5.  PLAY AGAIN.  The hand is now over and the player is presented with a PLAY AGAIN button.

**7-CARD POKER HANDS ARE COMING!  We now have the probability tables for 7-card poker hands!  This is very exciting news because it will enable operators to offer giant payouts (i.e., $1 million for a 7-card Royal Flush on a $1 wager) or incredible progressive jackpots.

KEY QUESTIONS.

How is the Redraw Offer determined?  The Redraw Offer is the expected return of the Hole Cards based on the payout table.  For example, if the hand’s Redraw Offer is -$0.15, this means that on average, the player will lose $0.15 by playing out the hand.  As such, Redraw Offers are operator neutral.  Also note that operators can apply a discount to the Redraw Offer as well.

How many Redraw Offers can a player accept for a single-hand?  Right now, players can take as many redraw offers as they would like.  However, we have the ability to limit the number of Redraw Offers presented for a given hand.

How much time does a player have to accept a Redraw Offer?  The demo version is currently set to enable a player with an unlimited amount of time to decide whether to accept a Redraw Offer.  However, we realize that in real play, this can create an issue where a player leaves in the middle of a round, or simply takes way too much time.  As such, we have the ability to employ a timer.  If the timer ticks down to zero, then the REVEAL button is automatically depressed and the game moves to its conclusion.

Is the payout table adjustable?  Yes.  Right now, the payout table is set to an RTP of 96%.  However, we can adjust it to meet your needs.

A NEW ERA FOR VIDEO POKER

ORIGINS.  We took a deep dive into the history of video poker when we created Texas Redraw.  What we learned is that by incorporating light decision-making into game play we create the perception (not the reality) that players can influence the outcome.  This effectively increases player engagement and is the secret of the prolonged staying power and longevity of 5-card draw video poker.

THE REDRAW CONCEPT.  Texas Reload employ’s PGT’s patent-pending Redraw concept that enables players to exchange their Hole Cards for two new ones.  Each time a player accepts a Redraw Offer, it’s the equivalent of playing a complete hand.

7-CARD POKER HANDS ARE COMING!  We now have the probability tables for 7-card poker hands!  This is very exciting news because it will enable operators to offer giant payouts (i.e., $1 million for a 7-card Royal Flush on a $1 wager) or incredible progressive jackpots.

REVENUE POTENTIAL.  Texas Reload provides an exceptional revenue opportunity because in increases the velocity of play.  Additionally, due to the psychology of the game’s mechanics, it is much more likely that players will swap out their hole cards when they provide the player with a lower expected return.  As such, we anticipate the overwhelming majority of Redraw Offers that are accepted with be those that reward the operator.

Additionally, operators have the ability to apply a discount to all Redraw Offers presented and therefore increase their overall hold percentage.  The math required to calculate the expected return for a player’s Hole Cards is extremely complex and cannot performed in your head.  As such, applying a small discount to the Redraw Offer will likely be imperceptible to the player.  For example, applying a $0.02 discount to Redraw Offers on a $1.00 wager can increase the operator’s hold percentage.
